: All manipulations with animals were carried out in compliance with the NIH Guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals (http://oacu.od.nih.gov/regs/index.htm), the requirements of the Council Directive 86/653/EEC of 18 December 1986, and the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation of August 12, 1977 N 755. The permission to conduct experiments with ground squirrels was obtained from the Bioethics Committee at the Institute of Cell Biophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Minutes No. 3/062019 dated 13.06.2019).
