: All procedures performed in studies involving human participants complied with the ethical standards of the National Committee on Research Ethics and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. Informed voluntary consent was obtained from each participant enrolled in the study.The study was approved by the Local Ethics Committee of the D.O. Ott Research Institute of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductology (Minutes no. 125, dated May 12, 2023).For ethical reasons, a comparison group was not envisaged. The sample size was determined taking into account a benefit-risk assessment, considering the previously proven efficacy of the treatment and the presence of invasive procedures.
