ETHICS APPROVAL AND CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE
: All animal experiments were approved by the Ethics Committee on Animal Use (CEUA) of the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), under protocol number CEUA 022906/2023-38 date July 27, 2023. The CEUA at UFPel is accredited by the Brazilian National Council for the Control of Animal Experimentation (CONCEA). All procedures were carried out at the UFPel animal facility in accordance with institutional and international guidelines for animal care and use.
