The study was approved by the Committee for Ethical Treatment of Animals of Perm State University (Minutes no. 4 of April 3, 2017). Zander in the Kama Reservoir is a commercial species and is not listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. It was sampled in accordance with permits issued by the Federal Agency for Fisheries in accordance with Law no. 166-FZ “On Fishing and Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resources”.
