: This research was carried out in line with the principles and standards outlined by the Institutional Medical Ethics Committee of the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Capital Medical University, Beijing, China (Ethics Approval Number: CM2023-023-02, approval date: 2023-09-23). Cartilage specimens were obtained from female patients (aged ~50 ± 15 years) undergoing total knee replacement surgery and all patients provided written informed consent for the use of their discarded surgical tissues for research purposes.
