ETHICS APPROVAL AND CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE
: All applicable international, national, and/or institutional guidelines for the care and use of animals were followed. Animals were captured using a humane method that did not affect their viability. After capturing them, various measurements were taken and the animals were then released into their natural habitats.The data were collected between 1971 and 2015 (prior to the establishment of the Bioethics Commission of the Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences on May 14, 2020) and, according to the Commission’s decision (Protocol no. 13 dated November 1, 2022), do not require its special consideration.
