ETHICS APPROVAL AND CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE
: All work involving marine animals was conducted in accordance with the requirements and regulations of the International Council for the Protection of Animals used for Experimental and other Scientific Purposes. No seals were captured specifically for the purposes of this study. All animals were caught legally in accordance with the permits issued by the Amur Territorial Administration of the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency (nos. 2720230117996 and 2720230117997) and in compliance with all recommendations and restrictions defined by the Fishing Rules of the Russian Federation.
