: Kravchenko Viktor Filippovich Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Chief Researcher Scientific interests : systems analysis, applied mathematics and computer science, computational methods, digital signal processing, radiophysics, remote sensing. He is a specialist in the field of system analysis of modern information technologies, applied mathematics and computer science, computational methods, digital signal and image processing, radio physics. Author and co-author of 25 monographs, more than 870 scientific papers, and 11 inventions. He created a scientific school: 11 doctors of science and 18 candidates of science. Author of original studies on the development and generalization of the R‑function method, which found wide application in calculating various physical fields for objects of complex shape. V.F. Kravchenko developed and implemented into on-board and ground-based special-purpose systems a methodology for constructing mathematical models and algorithms related to the processing of space-time fields, the construction of radio engineering and radiometric systems for their processing. A series of studies was carried out on the effect of a statistically inhomogeneous propagation environment on the quality indicators of measuring radio systems, optimization of signal processing with allowance for this influence, processing of physical fields in remote sensing systems of underlying surfaces based on the analysis of radar and radiometric information in determining electrodynamic parameters, as well as spatial characteristics of the propagation environment. He developed and for the first time applied the mathematical apparatus of atomic functions (AFs) to the construction of new weight functions (windows) for digital processing of signals, images, and radio fields and also managed to find a solution for the joint use of AF theory and number-theoretic methods. A new hybrid method is a significant step forward compared to traditional methods and can be considered as a general theory of digital processing. For the first time, he applied the AF theory to solving problems of physical electronics, analysis and synthesis of antennas, including fractal antennas. He proposed a new type of equivalent boundary conditions, which made it possible to significantly expand the range of scientific problems that arise when solving boundary value problems in the electrodynamics of superconducting structures. Churikov Dmitry Viktorovich Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Researcher Scientific interests : digital signal processing, radio physics, radar, wave opticsSpecialist in the field of digital signal and image processing, wavelet analysis theory, radio physics and optics. Author of more than 50 scientific papers on digital signal processing in information and physical applications.
