: No experiments involving human participants were conducted in this study. Therefore, informed consent was not required.
: All animal experiments were conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Animal Ethical Committee of Banaras Hindu University, India (Approval no. F. Sc./IAEC/2016-2017/485). Healthy male Swiss mice were maintained under standard laboratory conditions with a controlled light–dark cycle and ad libitum access to food and water. All procedures, including Candida albicans inoculation, treatment administration, blood collection, and organ harvesting, were performed to minimize animal suffering and in compliance with ethical standards for the use of laboratory animals. No conflicts of interest were declared by the authors.
