ETHICS APPROVAL AND CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE
: Experiments with animals were carried out in accordance with international, national, and institutional guidelines for the use of animals and approved by the Bioethics Committee of the Institute of Biology of the Karelian Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, protocol no. 8 dated August 28, 2025. The number of caught Atlantic salmon was determined in accordance with permit no. 116 dated July 4, 2019, of the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage.
