CONCLUSIONS
: New composites based on keratin and thermoplastic polymers (polyethylene and EVA) were developed.Comparative analysis of the properties of the EVA/keratin and PE/keratin composites was performed to study interfacial interactions. It was shown that for EVA/keratin composites, the dispersion of the filler affects the mechanical properties at large fillers and does not show a relationship at small ones. The rheological properties of the EVA/keratin and PE/keratin composites are similar, but the biodegradation rate is twice that of the EVA/keratin composites, due to the presence of reactive groups in EVA.
