ETHICS APPROVAL AND CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE
: All applicable international, national, and/or institutional guidelines for the care and use of animals were followed. The study using animals was approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of Perm State University (protocol no. 4 dated April 3, 2017). The pikeperch of the Kama Reservoir is a commercial species and is not listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. The catch of this species was carried out with permits issued by the Federal Agency for Fisheries in accordance with the law (no. 166-FZ On Fisheries and Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resources).
