ETHICS APPROVAL AND CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE
: The birds were procured in the Taimyr Dolgano–Nenets Municipal District, Krasnoyarsk krai with permission from the Ministry of Ecology and Rational Nature Use of Krasnoyarsk Krai (series 24 no. 423025) and the Local Public Organization of Hunters and Fishermen of Norilsk (series 24 no. 357357). Laboratory studies were conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Veterinary Department, Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, and in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO, 2002) and the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE, 2022). All procedures involving birds were performed in accordance with the European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals used for Experimental and Other Scientific Purposes (2003) and ethical standards outlined in the Directive 2010/63/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of September 22, 2010 on the Protection of Animals Used for Scientific Purposes.
