ETHICS APPROVAL AND CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE
: The animal study was approved by the Committee on the Care and Use of Animals of the Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution, Russian Academy of Sciences. In accordance with the protocol of the Committee on the Care and Use of Animals of the Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution, the shrews were euthanized with pentobarbital.
