Ethics approval and consent to participate: Human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs) were purchased from Genlantis (now AMSBIO, San Diego, USA). According to the supplier, the cells were obtained from donors who received prior ethical approval and provided written informed consent. This study was exempt from Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval because the cells were commercially available and ethically sourced. Additional information about cell sources and ethical compliance can be found on the website ( ).The project title approved for animal study is “Development of auditory neural (spiral ganglion) regenerative therapy via delivery of target-specific nanohydrogel encapsulated neural stem cells and photoactivated differentiation.” Animal care and all experimental procedures were performed in accordance with the protocol approved by the Animal Care and Use Committee of Dankook University (approval number DKU-23–044, approval date: June 15, 2023).
