: Skin tissue specimens were donated from the Department of Endocrinology, Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University (Kunming, Yunnan, China). The collection of human skin was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University (Approval No. 2021103, on July 5th 2021), and adhered to the guidelines and principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Written informed consent was provided by all patients, confirming the voluntary donation of their skin for the wound healing study without any financial remuneration. Male Kunming mice (20–24 g, 6–8 weeks old) and SD rats (180–200 g, 6–8 weeks old) were purchased from Hunan Slaughter Laboratory Animal Co. (Hunan, China). All animal care and experiments were approved and performed in accordance with the Kunming Medical University Ethics Committee (Approval No. kmmu20220069, on February 25th 2022).
