: Official study approval was obtained from the chief of the emergency department, additional director, and vice-principal of the College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital: Ethical approval was obtained from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at the National Health Research Council. Ahead of each interview, the participant was informed verbally and in writing of the terms and conditions of the interviews, including the information that participation was voluntary. Thereafter, written consent had to be signed before the interview started. At any point before the publishing of this study, the participants had the right to contact the research team and withdraw their consent. The authors used pseudonyms for all participants. Further, we ensured that the participants could not be identified from demographics or quotes. Thus, a detailed schematic overview of the participants could not be created due to the risk of breaching participant confidentiality. The study followed the ethical standards as laid down in the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and its later amendments.
