: The study was not classified as medical or epidemiological research involving human subjects by the Ethics Committee of the University of Würzburg and was approved without reservations under procedure number 20230216-01. All participants provided informed consent prior to participation. The data from the assessment of EMC using the VR simulation as well as the survey data were collected in a pseudonymized manner using the EvaSys<sup>®</sup> platform (Lüneburg, Germany), and the pseudonyms were removed after the data linkage. Data were processed and stored in accordance with local data protection laws.
