: The study protocol was approved by the Kasturba Medical College and Kasturba Hospital Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC Approval No. 196/2024; Registration No. ECR/146/Inst/KA/2013/RR-19; DHR Registration No. EC/NEW/INST/2022/KA/0042). The study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. The study was registered with the Clinical Trials Registry of India under the registration number CTRI/2024/10/074722 on 04 October 2024.
