Ethical clearance was obtained from Haramaya University, College of Health Sciences, and the Institutional Health Research Ethics Reviews Committee (IHRERC) with Ref. no. of IHRERC/190/2024. Hospital administrators had been informed about the purpose of the study and their right to refuse participation. Informed, written, and signed voluntary consent was obtained from them before starting the chart review. The information collected from patient cards is handled with complete confidentiality and has not caused any harm.
