Ethical approval and consent to participate
: This study was approved by the Medical Research Council of Zimbabwe (MRCZ) under license number MRCZ A2525. Permission to use the WHOQOL-BREF tool was sought and granted by WHO, Geneva. All study participants gave written informed consent after the study processes were explained to them and their questions and concerns addressed. Participants of this study were all above 16 years of age so they consented on their own. Confidentiality was maintained throughout the study.
