: This retrospective cross-sectional study was performed in adherence with the Declaration of Helsinki for research involving human subjects, in accordance to relevant guidelines and after approval from the Medical Research Ethics Committee, Ministry of Health and Population, and Alexandria Ophthalmology Hospital approval letter for data collection (9-2023/14). Participants were given a patient information sheet and an informed consent was obtained and they were able to withdraw from the study at any time.
