: Collection of zooplankton (Daphniain this study) mostly did not require specific permissions because these samples were usually obtained from unprotected lakes that are open for public activities. Samples from Czech drinking water reservoirs originated from previous sampling campaigns approved by the respective water management authorities. Our study did not involve the use or collection of endangered or protected species.
