: Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology is one of few specialized organizations working on fossils, and is authorized to collect and study all kinds of fossils in China. This study includes fossil specimens that comply with relevant institutional, national, and international guidelines and legislation. The fossils in this study were collected in Wangyao village, Gaocheng town, Dengfeng city, Henan Province, (113.155925°E, 34.341893°N). This study does not involve any endangered or protected plant species, ethical approval or consent is not required.
