: All fieldwork at Salto de Piedra is undertaken under permit held by J.L. Prado Ref.: NO-2025-2027-11371847-GDEBA-DPPCICULGP. All necessary permits were obtained for the described study, which complied with all relevant regulations from GOBIERNO DE LA PROVINCIA DE BUENOS AIRES. All fossil remains analyzed here are stored in the Instituto de Investigaciones Arqueologicas y Paleontologicas del Cuaternario Panpeano (INCUAPA (CONICET-UNICEN, Argentina) storage facilities.
