: A laboratory colony of MED/QBemisia tabaciwas used for the whole genome sequencing []. The initial founding pair was collected from a cucumber plant in the infested field (Beijing, China) in 2011.Bemisia tabaciis a common insect species in China, and does not require permits for collection.
