Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The parent oysters were sampled from the intertidal zone of Changli and Qingdao, respectively. The F1 progenies were cultured in a farm in Qingdao before attachment, and cultured in the sea after attachment of the larvae. There’s no specific permissions for the sampling of the oysters. And all the experiments were carried out with approval from Experimental Animal Ethics Committee, Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China.
