: The material we used in this study is a notorious agricultural pest, the oriental fruit fly <i>Bactrocera dorsalis</i>. The strain in this study is a wide used laboratory strain for the oriental fruit fly functional researches. Therefore, it does not involve ethical issues and not need relevant permission.
