: All data were based on blood samples that were collected as part of previous studies. Data set 1 was on samples collected on approved animal studies by INRA, France. The animal experiments for data set 2 were conducted in accordance with the Federation of Animal Science Societies Guide for the Care and Use of Agricultural Animals in Research and Teaching, the USDA Animal Welfare Act and Animal Welfare Regulations, or according to the National Institutes of Health’s Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals []. The animal experiments for data set 3 were carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the Canadian Council on Animal Care [] and the protocol approved by the Animal Care and Use Committee at the University of Alberta (AUP00002227).
