Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Verbal informed consent was obtained from all the participants with the help of an interpreter before samples were collected. The sample collection procedure and research was approved by the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation (MRSI) and the National Council of Scientific Research and Technology (CNRST) in Burkina Faso (Permit number 0495). The study was approved by the Ethical Committee of the Charles University in Prague (approval no. 2016/07) and by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (approval no. 2019–00479). Research have been performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
