Ethics approval and consent to participate

: All the skin biopsies were collected during 2012–2013, before that the Italian Government transposes the directive on animal welfare (D.lgs 26/2014) thus before an ethical committee approvation was mandatory. The cashmere goats samples used in this project are the same used in Pazzaglia et al. []. All goats sampled are still alive, in health and supervised by her owner and veterinary doctor, who signed the informed consent fort this research.
