: The work was conducted in compliance with all national and international standards for.animal welfare. All peripheral blood samples used for DNA extraction were originally collected for other purposes (other research projects or during standard diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures) by licensed veterinarians in compliance with all ethical and legal standards, based on owners´ consent, and shared. Therefore, in agreement with its rules, no special approval of the Committee for Animal Welfare and Ethics of the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno was needed for working on the shared and/or archived samples.
