: In this study, all procedures involving animals followed the guidelines for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals. The Animal Care and Use Committee of the South China Agricultural University especially approved this study. The phenotypic data and ear tissue samples of Duroc pigs used in this study were provided by the Wens Foodstuffs Group Co., Ltd. (Guangdong, China), and written informed consent was obtained before data collection from this company.
