: The authors report that experimental works on the plant, pine wood <i>Pinus densiflora</i>, comply with institutional, national, and international guidelines. Permissions are only required for field tests of insecticides on plants by the government of Korea, Republic of. No permissions were necessary to perform experiments and collect the plant samples under the greenhouse conditions. All the experiments on pine woods were performed in the greenhouse set up at the private property of Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (Daejeon, Republic of Korea).
