: The samples of sheep used in this study were collected from a sheep breeding farm in Inner Mongolia, China. Written informed consent was obtained from the owners for the participation of their animals in this study. All experimental protocols involving sheep were conducted in compliance with the guidelines and regulations of the Animal Protection Laboratory Animal Regulations (2020) and approved by the Ethical Committee of the Inner Mongolia Agriculture University, Hohhot, China (Approval No.: 2020–007). Furthermore, all experiments were performed in accordance with the Animal Research: Reporting of In Vivo Experiments guidelines.
