: The experimental protocols were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Freshwater Fisheries Research Center, Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences (Wuxi, China). Tilapia were anaesthetized with MS222, prior to the collection of blood and tissue samples.
