Hoo & Tseng formally identified the plant material Panax notoginseng (Burkill) (Journal of Systematics and Evolution 11: 435, 1973) in Flora of China. Statement plant materials of P. notoginseng were collected from the Xiaoxinzhai planting base; they were planted by Wenshan Miao Xiang P. notoginseng Industrial Co., Ltd., China. The plant materials don’t include any wild species at risk of extinction.
