: This study followed the recommendations of the “Regulations for the Management of Affairs Concerning Experimental Animals” (Ministry of Science and Technology, China, revised in June 2004). All experimental procedures were in accordance with the animal welfare legislation and approved by the ethics committees of all the participating institutes (Institute of Animal Science and Veterinary, Tianjin Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Institute of Animal Sciences of CAAS; Tianjin Key Laboratory of Animal Molecular Breeding and Biotechnology; Tianjin Engineering Research Center of Animal Healthy Farming; College of Life Sciences, Nankai University). Blood samples were collected by trained personnel and specialized veterinarians in accordance with the Tianjin Academy of Agricultural Sciences Animal Welfare Protocol. All methods were performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations. Informed consent was obtained from all animal owners. The study is reported in accordance with ARRIVE guidelines.The ethical approval numbers are: Tianjin Academy of Agricultural Sciences Institute of Animal Science (TAAAS-IAV-2022-003), Institute of Animal Science, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IAS-CAAS-2022-011).
