Ethics approval and consent to participate: All experimental protocols involving pig handling and sample collection were carried out in accordance with the guidelines for animal welfare and ethics in China and were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Hunan Agricultural University. A total of six Large White pigs used in this study were provided by Dalong Livestock Co., Ltd. (Hunan Province, China) and raised under standard management conditions with free access to feed and water.
