Ethics approval and consent to participate: All animal experimental procedures were approved by the Bio and Health Ethics Committee of Southwest University of Science and Technology (approval number: L2022013). All procedures were conducted in accordance with institutional guidelines and relevant regulations for animal care and use. The experimental Xizang sheep used in this study were provided by the Institute of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Tibet Academy of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Sciences.
