Ethics approval and consent to participate: All experimental procedures involving animals were reviewed and approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) of Konkuk University. Blood sampling of domestic pigs was conducted at the National Institute of Animal Science (NIAS), Wanju, Republic of Korea, in accordance with institutional guidelines and national regulations for animal research (approval no. NIAS2021-0522). Genomic DNA from three common warthogs was obtained from Prof. Hunduma Dinka at Adama Science and Technology University (Ethiopia) under an approved material transfer agreement.
