: The sample of sick chickens from farms were euthanized by cervical dislocation and then dissected with aseptic surgical techniques. All experimental protocols were approved by the Ethics Committee of Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences. All methods were carried out in accordance with the regulation of Hubei Province Laboratory Animal Management Regulations-2005. Collection of organ samples from the farms complies with the ARRIVE guidelines (ExternalRef removed) for the reporting of animal experiments. The animals used in this study were derived from commercial sources, and the owners’ consent was not required.
