: Permission for using the information in the medical records of the patient and the <i>K. pneumoniae</i> isolates for research purposes was granted by the Ethics Committee of the China-Japan Friendship Hospital (2022-KY-054). Our research is in line with the exemption type of informed consent and ethics approval that “Using identifiable human body materials or data for research, it is no longer possible to locate the subject, and the research project does not involve personal privacy disclosure or commercial interests”. As this is a retrospective Cohort study based on previous clinical diagnosis and treatment results, the Ethics Committee of the China-Japan Friendship Hospital granted the study exemption status.
