: The permission for working on clinical isolates of Staphylococcus aureus was taken from Institutional Biosafety Committee of Central University of Gujarat and approval from RCGM, DBT, GoI. Written permissions were obtained from hospital management for obtaining bacterial isolates as well as demographic data of patients. All standard procedures of handling pathogens were followed as per the guidelines of IBSC.
