: This study was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee of the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University. A subset of Proteus mirabilis isolates was collected as part of the hospital’s antimicrobial resistance surveillance program, under the supervision of the laboratory head. The requirement for individual informed consent was waived by the Ethics Committee of the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University in accordance with national regulations.
