: The study was conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical clearance was obtained from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Gondar (Ref. number: CMHS/SH/RTT/CoMEng/06/216/3/2015). Written permission letter was obtained from Debre Markos, Felege-Hiwot, and the University of Gondar Comprehensive Specialized Hospitals for the data collection process. Written informed assent and consent was obtained from the parents/guardians and study participants, respectively. Participation was based on voluntarism. The confidentiality and anonymity of all participants information were strictly maintained throughout the research process. Participants were provided with appropriate counseling and referral services whenever necessary.
