Ethics approval and consent to participate: Skin microbiota samples were collected from healthy adult volunteers by non-invasive skin swabbing after obtaining written informed consent. Participation was entirely voluntary. Samples were anonymized prior to use, and no personal, demographic, clinical, or health-related data were collected or used in the study. Donors were not involved in any subsequent study procedures or follow-up.The collection and use of human-derived samples were conducted in accordance with the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. BIO-EC Laboratory is authorized by the Bioethics Department of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (Direction Générale de la Recherche et de l’Innovation) to collect, store and use human biological tissues for research purposes (authorization number DC-2022-5373).
