: The varieties, Nagafu No.2 and Yanfu No.6, are widely cultivated in China. These two verieties used in this study were obtained from the Apple Demonstration Nursery of the Yangling Modern Agriculture Technology Park, Shaanxi Province of China. Collection of plant materials complies with institutional, national and international guidelines. The field study was conducted in accordance with local legislation.
