: This project uses plant materials and does not utilize transgenic technology. The authorities responsible for the <i>Taxus</i> resources are the Mount Changbai National Nature Reserve, who provided permission to collect the samples of <i>T. cuspidata</i>, the Mount Tianmu National Nature Reserve, who provided permission to collect the samples of <i>T. mairei</i> and <i>T. chinensis</i>, and Motuo National Nature Reserve, who provided permission to collect the samples of <i>T. fuana</i> and <i>T. yunnanensis</i>, for our scientific research. <i>T. media</i> is cultivated variety purchased from the Wuwangnong company (Chengdu, China), who provided permission to use the seedlings for our scientific research.
