: <i>H. angustifolia</i> were collected in Guanzhu Town, Maoming City, Guangdong Province in 2015, and then planted in the medicinal botanical garden of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (GZUCM). <i>H. angustifolia</i> used in this experiment were all collected from the medicinal botanical garden of GZUCM. Permission was not necessary for collecting these species, which have not been included in the list of national key protected plants. Voucher specimen of <i>H. angustifolia</i> was deposited at the Chinese medicine herbarium of GZUCM. Experimental research on <i>H. angustifolia</i> complies with GZUCM guidelines (ExternalRef removed), and does not include the genetic transformation of the same, preserving the genetic background of the species used. It does not require ethical approval.
